About the Artist

I am a woman in my late 20's who balances a professional career with a desire to create art. During the day, I work for an international company- based out of the midwest- overseeing multiple aspects of our Latin America Division, including marketing, translation, and alliance coordination. In my spare time, I make bold statements on canvas that reflect themes of passion, duality, and deception.

My body of work is best described as the product of a self-taught acrylic painter who has a long history of sketching the human form in motion, and who is fascinated by bright colors. I occasionally refer to my process of painting as dialoguing; that is to say, I never feel as though I am simply painting but instead engaging in a conversation with the canvas in an attempt to solve conceptual problems that arise as I carry out my artistic visions. Suffice it to say, the end product is never quite what I originally imagined, but it is always worth the journey.
